A thorough history and comprehensive physical, orthopaedic and neurological examination is carried out. If x-rays or other imaging (i.e. MRI, CT, US etc.) is required, these will be arranged and may require liaising with your Medical Doctor. The treatment usually commences at the first session. Everything is explained in detail to ensure full understanding of your problem and the prevention involved.
This can only be determined on an individual basis. If x-rays are required, they are performed by Radiographers and reported on by medical Radiologists. These services are covered by Medicare.
